Bend Aero Modelers, Bend, Oregon, USA

The Bend Aero Modelers ("BAM") is a non-profit organization (club) with the mission to promote model aviation and the joy of radio controlled (R/C) flying.
We are affiliated with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) and as such are an AMA-chartered club (AMA charter # 2311).

Our club includes diverse members with different backgrounds, ages, and interests.
We welcome all model aviation enthusiasts, regardless of your experience level and specific areas of interest within this fascinating hobby.
Furthermore, we support all compliant types and sizes of R/C airplanes, including helicopters and jets.

If you are new to R/C flying and would like to learn more about it, please refer to the information provided on this website.
Either way, whether you are just starting out or have been flying for a long time, we would love to hear from you and tell you more about the Bend Aero Modelers.

Our flying site (Popp's Field) is located about 18 miles east of Bend, Oregon (Deschutes County) going towards Burns, just off Highway 20 near Horse Ridge and the Oregon Badlands.
