The Derby Radio Control Club (DRCC) is an affiliation of people in and around the Derby, Kansas area who are enthusiastic about the sport and hobby of Radio Control (R/C) Aircraft.
Founded in 1996, the charter members of DRCC came together not just to create a social organization but also to provide an umbrella of rules that will insure that R/C flying continues to be one of the safest recreation activities that the general public can enjoy.
Part of our mission is to promote the awareness of, and partication in, R/C flying within the community.
DRCC provides, at no charge, experienced people to act as flight instructors for anyone who is interested in learning to fly.
