Our members and guests enjoy flying almost every type of RC aircraft including Scale, Aerobatic (even 3D), Sport, Trainers, Antique, Warbirds, Combat, "Foamies" and Helicopters. Types of power common at our field: Gas, Glow, or Electric.
Our flying field is located east of Barling just off Highway 22, across from the old main gate of Fort Chaffee. We have two runways, each of which is over Five Hundred feet long, forming an "L" pattern. All flying can be done with the sun at your back and both runways are in excess of Fifty feet wide. The surface is close-cropped grass.
There is ample "pit area" for erecting a cover as well as plenty of parking adjacent to each pit area and flight line. We try to be helpful to newcomers to our hobby. Experienced Pilots can be available to check a new member's models and to take those without experience safely through first flights.
