North Coast RC Modelers, Tillamook, Oregon, USA

The North Coast RC modelers (NCRCM) airfield is located about 7.5 miles south of Tillamook Oregon.
It is along the west side of Highway 101 on a farm at street address 13990 Highway 101. Look for the signs telling you which farm driveway to use.

The airfield is a great place for RC flying. It is nestled in a little valley which experiences much calmer winds than is typical for most coastal areas.
It has a wide, 300 feet long grass runway adequate for landing anything except maybe large ducted jets.
A huge overflight area is west, north and south of the pilots station having very few trees, fences, buildings or other such obstacles to worry about.
The landing approach is clear for a long ways in both directions.
Morning sun gives the best plane visibility due to a layout facing mostly towards the west.
Low afternoon sun during winter may interfere with your vision when looking south of the runway.
The field has easy access from Highway 101. Parking is adequate for about a dozen vehicles (more parking is made available during special events).
The airfield does not have electricity, running water, or overnight space however there are some nice campgrounds located nearby.
