Rogue Valley Flyers is a charter club of the Academy of Model Aeronautics, serving aviation hobbyists of Grants Pass and Josephine County since 1976.
RVF is involved in community activities with participation in the annual Boatnik Parade on Memorial Day week end and many static displays at venues throughout the county.
One of our most important efforts is introducing aviation to young people.
We offer class room presentations in area schools and frequent buddy-box flying experiences. R/C flying is a splendid means for families to draw together in an activity of design, building and mutual growth in flying skills.
RVF leases its field, Josephine Skypark, from the county.
During the flying season members will be found at the field many times throughout the week.
In addition the club features special events with many opportunities for public participation.
